New feature: CLI mode. The app can now run without a window (--cli), signing in, opening a workspace and serving the local API (and optionally the MCP server). (learn more). -
New feature: BOMs for Consumables. In-house consumable parts (e.g. a glue, a solution or a paint) can now have a product, so they can be produced too. Their BOM only takes items measured in fractional units (length, area, volume, weight) and each revision defines what a run of its BOM produces (e.g. "to produce 2.5L you need 20ml of glue..."). Parts have a newProduction UoMfield, the unit of measure used by default for what a new revision produces. -
New feature: Add inventory in bulk. Inventory can now be added to several parts at once (select the parts andAdd inventory...) -
New feature: Part counters. Parts now count how much has been purchased, produced and sold of them (Purchased #,Produced #andSold #fields). Counting starts with this version, so the counters can be edited to set what was done before. -
Permissions are now more detailed.
Inventoryhas its own section (it used to be underParts), Purchase Lists and Purchase Orders have their own access levels, and there are new actions that can be granted on their own:Can receive(purchase orders),Can reserveandCan deliver(sales orders) andCan finish build(production builds). There's also a newAccess topermission on Storage, Contacts and Suppliers to limit a role to some storage locations, contacts or suppliers.
Other significant improvements:
- Production: a build can now be finished with 0 units: no inventory is added, but the build is marked as finished (inventory can still be consumed through
Assemble) - Inventory:
Remove if empty(Settings > Workspace > Parts) now has 3 modes:Never,AlwaysandNon-traceable only(inventory with a lot, ID code or date code is kept with zero quantity so you can keep track of it). - The inventory form now has
Ownership,TraceabilityandUpdate unit costsections which can be toggled on/off (what you turn off is remembered) Settings > Workspace > Procurementnow shows an example of how theProcured byandReserved bysettings schedule things, starting from a sales order
